The Non-Crime, Drug-Free Lease Addendum is a written agreement between a landlord and a tenant that sets out the criminal and drug policy of an apartment. A tenant who accepts the terms of the addendum indicates that he or she is not participating in or facilitating criminal activity on the premises of the apartment. It is carried out in conjunction with the initial signing or renewal of a lease and therefore sets out the guidelines described therein for the specified period specified in the lease.
